Believing is the beginning of faith; taking ones feat to remain in that faith is the start of love.
In a world where asserting the things we believe in is required to make a man steadfast to his conviction, so as in our Christian faith, for so many religious Catholics have been drifted away by luring tides of temptation. Christians must be tied up by vows of Confirmation to raise a line between good and evil.
A typical Confirmation setting loomed before the altar of the church, warmly welcoming the joyful parents, sponsors, and the vague candidates for confirmation. Lined up along the shiny stone aisle waiting for the bishop, all dressed in white completed the aura of sanctity for the anticipated renewal of faith before God’s presence. Lourdes Parish gleamed like a bride on that day waiting for the most important day of its life. Joining the community of irrevocable followers of Christ were (total number of confirm antes) candidates of which (number of boys) are males and (number of girls) are females.
Hardly unlike any ordinary days, this day was a day when all the heavens rejoiced in congratulations to the new Christians joining the family of preachers of God’s of love to mankind. Archbishop of (archdiocese), bishop (name of the Bishop) blessed the new batch of Christians at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish, last May 24, 2012 in time of the feast day of Mary Help of Christians. Thanks to the catechists and the Parish personnel who found time polishing the flow of this Holy Sacrament ahead of time, everything was made smooth and solemn.
Rejoices and conversions were made on that hour, a mark of the Holy Spirit’s charisma working on the hearts of men at a very unexplained instant. Reaching up to this peak signifies the start of living a fulfilled Christian life worthy of emulation because this has been the symbol of affirming to God that we are ready to preach and be evangelizers and enlighteners to His people. The sacrament entails a duty that God wants us to do, and having received the sacrament of Confirmation shoves us to take up our cross and follow Him.
